Ten plus Years Of Experience. Established in the year 2009, Y-Stand Dance School is a Modern Dance school with the vision and mission of “Dance to Express Yourself ". With the growing interest and prospect, it has received a phenomenal response from the public where till date which have produced more than 2000+, individual and professional dancers.

- Dance has always been a part of our society and with the limited scope and mentality but it has always been suppressed in so many ways where Y-stand certainly believes in marking its presence by breaking that limited attitude and perspective.
JD Tamu
A dedicated performer, choreographer, and director, with a passion for promoting teamwork and fostering creativity. Highly skilled in various dance forms with 15 years of experience in learning, teaching, and performing. A motivator known for delivering emotions effectively, creating a positive atmosphere, and exploring art through diverse perspectives. Also, a proficient photographer, photojournalist, and cinematographer.
Kanchan Shrestha
Kanchan Shrestha is a passionate and dedicated dance teacher at Y-Stand Dance School, where she has been sharing her expertise and love for dance for the past 8 years. With a background in (Bollywood, Hip-hop, Zumba, etc), Ms. Shrestha has guided students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop not only their technique but also their confidence and creativity. In addition to her role at Y-Stand Dance School, Ms. Kanchan has had the exciting opportunity to work with the renowned Wildripperz Crew, where she collaborated with talented dancers from various backgrounds, contributing to high-energy performances and gaining insight into the intricacies of street dance culture. Her time with Wildripperz Crew helped hone her versatility, pushing her to experiment with new styles and techniques while developing a deep understanding of the teamwork and creativity involved in group choreography. This experience has enriched Ms. Shresthas teaching into the next level and also has inspired students to push boundaries in their dance journeys.
